A British army Lance Bombardier has won a huge cash payout after she was harassment by a womanising male sergeant.

The 32-year-old known for her lesbian tryst in uniform from previous years won 200,000 British pounds in compensation from a London court after advances from Staff Sergeant Ian Brown.

Sergeant Brown apparently asked Kerry Fletcher to join him and another woman in a threesome at a North Yorkshire, England horse stable barracks.

"Look, I might be able to convert you. You don't know what you are missing," Staff Sergeant Brown asked Flethcer.

IN 1997, Kerry Fletcher was at the heart of a military sex scandal when she was caught in bed with an Australian policewoman. She was saved by insisting she was not gay.

The tribunal heard how Brown and other male colleagues tried to destroy her career because she spurned his advances.

A panel at Leeds Employment Tribunal today awarded Miss Fletcher £186,896 from the Ministry of Defence for her sexual harassment ordeal at the Royal Artillery stables based at RAF Topcliffe.

The payout included a punitive award of £50,000 in exemplary damages, £20,000 in aggravated damages and £30,000 for hurt feelings the maximum possible.
It is believed to be the first time an employment tribunal has ever awarded exemplary damages in this country.
