Beijing Teen Hot Wires Bus 404, Joy Ride Through Streets, Like "Hollywood Blockbuster"

Chaos on Beijing streets as teen hijacks city Bus, ramming dozens of stunned drivers.

An unnamed Chinese 13-year-old has hot wired a Beijing bus and taken it on a joy ride though the capitols streets, the AP reports.

Witnesses to the early morning mayhem likened the scene to "a blockbuster movie" as the bus smashed into at least a dozen cars and a mini-bus at random.

The student apparently jumped into the driver's seat of the bus after the driver had left to go use a restroom. City bus number 404 was hijacked while it was parked at a terminal, the Xinhua news agency said.

"It was like watching a blockbuster movie when I saw the bus crashing into cars like a bulldozer," said Liu, a man who runs a shoe-repair stand near the scene of the crash.

Liu said that the out of control bus came at him like a "dancing dragon", as he sat eating breakfast when the bus came screaming towards him.

The crazy Chinese teen zigzagged through Sunday morning traffic in Beijing's eastern Chaoyang district, Xinhua News said, according to AP.

The report did not give the boy's name and said police were still trying to reach his guardians, nobody on the busy Beijing streets was reported injured.
