It appears Apple may have lost the first battle in the smartphone wars first declared by the Palm Pre in recent times. Palm Pre has torpedoed Apple with reports in technology media saying that iTunes works seamlessly on the new smartphone Palm Pre when you connect the cell phone into the iPhone and iPod intended online music store.

The epic blow to Apple puts another dent into the smartphone makers defence against the Palm Pre,(along with Angelina Jolies Palm Pre approval) and should be another selling point to potential smartphone buyers weighing options in the competitive smartphone market.

Now with Palm Pre's obvious technological and scientific designs to tap into Apples iTunes, Apple iPhone suddenly seems like a less attractive option for any consumers of buys of smartphones in the marketplace.

So not only iPhone users have the ability to sync pictures, movies, videos and other data to devices but Palm Pre users will too.
