Media reports say the King of Pop Michael Jackson was addicted to the powerful painkiller called Demerol also known as Pethidine. Jackson may well have suffered cardiac arrest after an injection of the drug by his personal medical team, reports in UK tabloids say.

Reports early on say Michael Jackson's personal physician was with the pop King when he suffered an apparent heart attack and administered CPR while paramedics arrived at the scene. Jacksons doctor is said to have administered the powerful and fast moving Demorol pain killer.

Tarak Ben Ammar said the late Michael Jackson's doctors were "criminals" and "charlatans" who took advantage of his hypochondria, skin disorder.
"It's clear that the criminals in this affair are the doctors who treated him throughout his career, who destroyed his face, who gave him medicine to ease his pain," an emotional Tarak Ben Ammar, a Tunisian national, told France's Europe 1 radio on Friday.
"He was a hypochondriac and one never really knew if he was sick because he had become surrounded by charlatan doctors who were billing him thousands and thousands of dollars worth of drugs, vitamins...," Tarak Ben Ammar claimed.
