Not the usual suspect for the tabloid magazines, veteran Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman has been emboryled in a love affair scandal with the grand daughter of his wife of 25 years, E’Dena Hines.
Morgan Freeman and E’Dena Hines grandmotehr Myrna Colley-Lee are in the middle of a marriage break up and divorce proceedings, but only now are reports surfacing of an alleged decade long love affair with Morgan Freeman's wifes grandaughter E'Dena Hines, media say.
US tabloid The National Enquirer says 72-year-old Oscar-winning Morgan Freeman had been hjavign the long-running affair with his estranged wife’s 27-year-old granddaughter since E'Dena Hines had been a teenager.
The tabloid says Morgan Freeman tried to seduce E'Dena Hines after both had been drinking, a them teenage step-granddaughter.
Turning Freeman down at the time, E'Dena Hines later begin a full love relationship together in at a California hotel in the 1990's and the love affair has continued since, the tabloid cliamed.
"Myrna said E'dena Hines told her that when she was a teenager, she and Morgan went to dinner at a friend's house one evening. Both had been drinking and when they returned home Morgan attempted to have his way with her. They stopped just short," a close family friend was quoted by The Enquirer.
Morgan Freeman even took E'Dena Hines on many of his Hollywood film Premiers. The LA Times said E'Dena Hines was Freemans escort to the premiere of “The Dark Knight” and various other films E'Dena Hine's Grandfather in law had performed in.
Morgan Freeman's representative said he had no comment about the E'Dena Hines love relationship, the LA Tims said.
"No comment on anything in The Enquirer," the Morgan Freeman agent said.
