Sitting on a 500-text per day habit, Kate Moore put her addiction to the mobile phone text message to good use, pulling off victory at the electronic maker LG sponsored, National Texting Championship event.

Beating out 20 other texting finalists, Kate Moore will take home some $50,000 for her epically fast and very accurate cell phone texting skills, and other entertaining and bizarre texting challenges.
Over two days of fierce texting competition, Kate Moore was simply the best mobile phone texter, beating out the competition in challenges such as texting while blindfolded, texting while manoeuvring through a moving obstacle course.
Press reported that during the final texting challenge, Kate Moore beat fellow teen Morgan Dynda, a 14-year-old from the state of Georgia.
The final contest between Kate Moore and her texting nemesis, Morgan Dynda, required both girls to text three long phrases without making a single mistake on abbreviations, capitalisation or punctuation.
A cheeky winner, Kate Moore advised the parents of teen texters to embrace their children's high tech cell phone habits.

The Iowa native, Kate Moore was lucky to win, beating her last rival out by a flash of time.
