LaToya Jackson, Bruno film scene cut for Sacha Baron Cohen comedy classic....A scene in Sacha Baron Cohen film, Bruno, involving LaToya Jackson and an iPhone phone number stealing by Bruno, has been cut from the film in the wake of Michael Jackson’s sudden death.
A scene featuring LaToya Jackson being interviewed by “Bruno,” has been cut from the film prior just before Thursday nights film premier, overshadowed by the King of Pop's Death.
LaToya Jackson, who is Michael Jackson’s older sister, made a cameo in “Bruno,” where she was conned into an interview at an LA house with a man she thought was a Austrian gay fashionista journalist.
In the scene Bruno tries to coax LaToya Jackson into singing just like her brother. Without success, Bruno instead snatches LaToyas iPhone, speaks to an assistant in German, and tells her to write Michael Jacksons home phone number down.
A source at Universal Studios told Access Hollywood online that the iPhone, Michael Jackson reference scene in the movie with LaToya was cut from the premier out of respect for the Jackson family.
Its not known if the LaToya Jackson-Bruno iPhone scene will be back for the films general release in July.
