Rihno Jango : Schoenbrunn Zoo, Vienna Rihno Falls in Love with Mercedes

Jango to Rihno has fallen in love with an old Mercedes car dumped into his home as part of a Zoo art environment awareness campaign.

A Rhino named Jango at the Schoenbrunn Zoo in Vienna, Austria has fallen in love with an old red Mercedes car, reports say.

Rhino Jango has been seen frolicking and flirting with the old Mercedes car, dumped into Jangos enclosure at the Schoenbrunn Zoo to call attention to humans impact on wild animals' environment.

The Schoenbrunn Zoo stunt had some unintended consequences, with Austrian Zoo visitors noting that Rhino Jango has fallen in love with the old red Mercedes.

"He's clearly smitten," an intrigued zoo visitor was quoted as saying about Jango the Rhinos relationship with the red Mercedes.

Visitor to the Schoenbrunn Zoo and Jango the Rihno's enclosure David Rogers said: "He was in the pond for an hour and he kept giving the car affectionate nibbles" at the Mercedes.

"Then he tried to climb on it from the back and front. Every now and again he would climb out of the water and gallop round his cage for 10 minutes before jumping back in the water. It was like he was trying to show off.

"He also kept trying to push the car out of the water but it's pretty firmly fixed in place," David Rogers added.

The Schoenbrunn Zoo called in artists to give visitors a fell of what life is like outside the enclosure gates for the ‘Trouble In Paradise’ exhibition, UK media said.

Other Zoo animal art work includes a railway line running across the bison enclosure, an old oil pump at the penguin section, a rusty bath for the crocodiles and oil drums at the aquarium.
