As Alexa Longueira walked along Victory Blvd concentrating on texting pals on her cell phone and wondering what to wear out tonight the last thing she would have imagined would have been ending up falling though an open man hole in the road.
“Regardless of whether I’m texting or not if there was a cone there I’m going to see a big orange cone. I walk that sidewalk every day, I don’t expect a big hole there,” Alexa Longueira told local news reporters.
Reports say just as Alexa Longueria was sending a text on her cell phone, Alexa Longueria suddenly felt the ground give way beneath her feet.
Recalling her ordeal to reporters, Alexa Longueria said that after the fall of several feet a number of local government workers rushed to her aid. With the help of several of Travis city's finest DEP workers Alex Longueira managed to drag herself out of the call phone texting trap hole.
The concerned workers called Alexa Longeuria an ambulance and the high schooler was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital. Alexa Longeuria was treated for scrapes on her arm and back and minor shock Doctors were also worried Alexa Longeuria had sustained some spinal injuries after her cell phone text messaging fall.
Kim Longueria, Alexa Longeuria's mother, claims her daughter Alexa Longeuria was not texing on her cell phone when she fell into the sewer. Kim Longueria also says she will be taking legal action after Alexa Longeuria's bizarre cell phone texting story, claiming incompetence from workers.
Mom Kim Longueria also claimed a friend of Alexa Longeuria was handing her teen daughter a cell phone, when she suddenly fell into the manhole, claiming Alexa Longeuria was not actually texting on her cell phone during the accident.
