Lots of crazy things seem to happen in Florida, so what happened to Corby Cowart when he went looking for Skittles candy is almost no surprise.

Authorities in Florida say mom Bonnie Cowart and 14-year-old son Corby Cowart's trip to the local pharmacy for some health goods and candy snacks unwittingly turned into a drug bust by accident.

Mom and Corby Cowart entered the pharmacy late afternoon when Corby Cowart walks over to the candy isle and discovered a bag of white powdery stuff under the skittles section.

Thanks to the wonders of TV, Corby Cowart almost immediately knew what the bag of white powder was, by observing episodes of Fox law enforcement reality show Cops

Talking to local late night TV news First Coast News' Corby Cowart told his tale and noted how he was surprised by the skittles cocaine discovery and Corby Cowart immediately reported the drugs to his mother.

The Cowart family reported the cocaine bag with the skittles to the local Clay County Sheriff's Office. The bag of white powder was very quickly subjected to a drugs test and the bag came back positive for party drug cocaine.

After police confirmed the bag was indeed cocaine Corby Cowart and his family returned to the pharmacy and confronted the staff.

The Cowart family told the local news program the pharmacy manager told them there was no need to take the remaining Skittles off the shelves, and laughed the entire cocaine and skittles candy bag incident off.
