Nanny to Michael Jackson's children, Grace Rwaramba, was his secret girlfriend a source claimed. Ian Barkley told UK media Michael Jackson and Grace Rwaramba had been in a long term adult love relationship.

News media reported that 42-year-old Grace Rwaramba was severely distraught when she heard the news about Jackson's passing.

Photographer Ian Barkley said behind closed doors, Grace Rwaramba acted as if she was a normal mum to Michael Jackson’s kids Prince Michael, 12, Paris Katherine, 11 and six-year-old Prince Michael II.

“Grace loved Michael and he loved her,” Ian Barkley said. “The kids called her ‘Mom’.”

Ian Barkley also weighed in on the Jackson children custody battle, saying former lover Grace Rwaramba should be the children's long term guardian.

"Though I love Michael's mum Katherine, she is 79 and if she passes on, the best place for the kids to go would be to Grace," Iam Brakley told the Daily Mirror.

"She really raised them. She was with them day in and day out. She really loved them and they they adored her as they would a mother."
