Picture: Sun Danyong iPhone worker.A Chinese iPhone factory worker named Sun Danyong has taken his own life after a fourth generation prototype of the iPhone Smartphone he was responsible for disappeared.
Apple Inc confirmed that the iPhone factory manager Sun Danyong committed suicide last week after the iPhone 4G mix up.
"We are saddened by the tragic loss of this young employee, and we are awaiting results of the investigations into Sun Danyong death," an Apple spokeswoman told technology and smartphone web sites yesterday.
"We require our suppliers to treat all workers with dignity and respect."
The passing of 25-year-old Sun Danyong began after he was blasted by iPhone factory bosses for misplacing the next generation in Smartphone technology, likely an iPhone to be released some time in 2010 (iPhone 2010).

Taiwanese based Apple iPhone maker Foxconn said it will launch a full investigation into the passing of Sun Danyong.
