Many Britons are asking, is controversial right-wing politician Nick Griffin gay?
The leader of the British National Party (BNP) has been making international news headlines over the past few days over an appearance of mainstream political talk show on the UK's biggest TV broadcaster, the BBC.
Is Nick Griffin gay?
Now comes an article from the UK newspapers that discusses information that suggest Nick Griffin could be a gay man.
Interestingly as part of Nick Griffins BNP party policy platform, Nick Griffin states that he is "creeped out" at the site of homosexual activity and Nick Griffin's party is firmly in the anti-gay camp.
In 2002 Nick Griffin has denounced homosexuality as a “behavioural deviancy” and attacked gay people for “flaunting their perversion.” He also ridiculed homosexuals as “repulsive.”
But what of Nick Griffin's past relationship with a man named Martin Webster.
Martin Webster was a former leader in UK right wing party the National Front (NF). Nick Griffin and Martin Webster were known to have had a very tight relationship many decades ago when Webster took Griffin under his wing.
Now comes claims that, in an interview with The Times newspaper, Nick Griffin claimed that the former deputy leader of the National Front, Martin Webster, offered to have an adult love affair when Griffin was a teenager.
Over the years Nick Griffin has hit out at rumours and reports he had a very close, love relationship with Martin Webster.
However, Martin Webster has since claimed that Nick Griffin had been for many years his "bit on the side"
Nick Griffin even admitted under pressure that he had spent many nights alone with Martin Webster in his London apartment as a young man.
After being kicked out of the far right wing UK political party, NF, Martin Webster claimed he was booted out of the party because of his sexual preferences.
In a reply to UK media questions about the alleged Nick Griffin-Martin Webster love affair, Griffin said if the “...(profanity removed) fantasy about our affair” was true, he would see fit Mrtin Webster put on the sex offenders register.
However, Nick Griffin refuses to take legal actions against Martin Webster for his public love affair allegations with Nick Griffin because “he is a silly old queen and I can’t be bothered”.
So why would someone of Nick Griffin's political and social views not take legal action against someone claiming he was a home sexual, slandering him, and battering his political credibility with supporters on the far right?
Could Nick Griffin actually be gay, but not willing to admit it? Is Nick Griffin gay?
