Video of a RUSSIAN MiG jet crash as a Tripoli air show has emerged...The video shows the Libyan Air Force MiG-23 hitting power lines, blowing up and slamming into a house on Wednesday October 7 2009.

Below is amazing video of a Russian military jet fighter owned by the Libyan Air Force flying at super fast speeds, swooping outrageously close to the ground and unexpectedly smashing into power lines and into a house in suburban Tripoli.

The Russian MiG-23 fighter jet crashed smashed into a house in a suburb of the Libyan capital and killed its two-man Libyan air crew and injured a number of people on the ground.

The amazing and terrifying Russian jet crash happened during what turned out to be a highly dangerous demonstration flight at an air show in the Souk-el-Jumaa district of Tripoli.

Production of the "third-generation" MiG-23 started in 1970 and ended in 1985 with over 5,000 aircraft built, Russian media said.

Its various modifications are currently operated by several former Soviet republics and traditional recipients of Soviet arms including Armenia, Algeria, Angola, Belarus, Cuba, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Turkmenistan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe
