Google's highly anticipated Nexus One smartphone will lanuch today, January 5 2009!

Google will hold a press conference at it world wide headquarters later Tuesday in Mountain View California. Google is expected to unveil the Nexus One and announce a plan to sell it directly to consumers.

Starting at 10 a.m PST in the United States Tuesday, January 5, refresh this page for live coverage of the event, which is expected to last around 90 minutes.

Nexus One is designed by Google engineers in house, it will come equipped with: Android 2.1, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.1 2.1 (and A2DP Stereo Bluetooth), a digital compass, an accelerometer, a 5-megapixel camera with a 2X zoom, 512MB of memory, and a 4GB Micro SD card. It will be able to handle JPEG, GIF, and BMP images; MP3, MIDI, XMF, iMelody, Ogg Vorbis, and WAVE audio; and MPEG-4, H.264 AVC video.
