Colon Cancer: Soda Drink Increases Risk



A study has found that consuming soda drinks can increase your likelyhood of developing colon cancer.

The massive study found that those who consumed two or more sugary drinks per day had a statistically significant increased risk of pancreatic cancer compared to individuals who did not.

The findings were published in a paper called Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention.

The colon cancer-soda drink link was discovered after the Singapore Chinese Health Study into the consumption of soft drinks, juice combined with lifestyle and environmental factors in 60,524 individuals.

Meanwhile, a seperate study published in the British Medical Journal suggesed that those with high levels of vitamin D had a lower risk of colon cancer.
