Dick Cheney has Heart Attack

A spokesperson for former US Vice President under George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, said the ageing former Republican has had a heart attack.

The Dick Cheney spokesman said: "Lab testing revealed evidence of a mild heart attack. He underwent a stress test and a heart catheterization."

Cheney remains at George Washington hospital and will do so for another 1-2 days at least, as he undergoes more tests.

The former US Vice President has had heart attacks in the past and visited hospital numerous times during his time in the last Bush White House.
