A young Russian women, Julia Popova, claims to have walked home from work and failed to notice a large knife protruding from the back of her neck after a mugging.

Russian media released this shocking picture of a large knife coming out of the neck of Julia Popova, with blood steaming down the 22-year-old woman's neck.

The six inch knife went right into the body of Julia Popova, but she claims she didn't even notice it and felt absolutely no pain.

Office worker Julia Popova says she had a brief encounter with a mugger who snatched her hand bag as Julia Popava walked home from work to her parents home in downtown Moscow.
