The Stony Brook, Long Island, New York air traffic veteran, Glenn Duffy reportedly let his 9-year-old son into the air traffic tower in February and the next day thought it would only be fair if his daughter, of the same age, enter the control tower for some fun as well.
48-year-old Glenn Duffy and his supervisor have been suspended from thier positions at JFK airport in Queens, New York City after the incident.
"This lapse in judgment not only violated FAA's own policies, but common sense standards for professional conduct," the US FAA said Wednesday.
"These kinds of distractions are totally unacceptable."
