iPad Buying Begins, Millions Log on for Apple Tablet Pre Release Online Shopping

Tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Apple fans are buying up the Apple iPad in pre-launch sales via the Apple store.

The demand for pre-order iPad online sales from the Apple store was so great that the Apple store on Apple.com was down for several hours early morning US time, as Apple nerds coast to coast logged in trying to get their first piece of the action.

Keen buyers of the much hyped Apple iPad tablet device have taken to social networking sites to express to the world what it feels like to be among the first few to be getting their hands on the new gizmo.

Below are some choice Twitter reactions from Apple nerds to their first purchase of the iPad 1.0 device set for an offical launch of April 3, 2010.

-Well I bought an iPad. 3G, 32GB. Now all I have to do is figure out WHY.

-In case any one's wondering (those that know me will)... yes... I bought an iPad: "Hi. I'm Leo and I'm an Early Adopter." *

-Yep just pre-ordered the $AAPL iPad. If it sucks, it will probably sell in eBay for more than I bought it for.

-iRegret yet from ordering the iPad? I bought one and am not sure if I bought the right one (32G wifi)? iRemorse will set in with cc bill.

-iPad preorders started 20 mins ago- accidentally bought 12

-Ordering a 1st generation iPad is about as big of a mistake as the B&W 2 GB iPod that I bought for $400 back in the day...

-Added my 1 iPad order to a customer who just bought 22 of them for every employee and another bought 5. This is insane.
