LONDON- The iPad from Apple will be launching in the UK just days after the much hyped gizmo goes on sale in the US.
Apple said in an email today that the iPad will likely be available to British costumers in mid-April, a few days after the launch of the much awaited tablet from the entertainment and communications consumer technology company.
Meanwhile, the huge interest in the iPad from potential Apple iPad buyers saw the Apple Store web site go down for several hours on Friday, as millions of Apple fans swamped to online store with pre-registration hits.
Users interested in purchasing the iPad from April 3 2010 are asked to sign up at the Apple store and pre-order the iPad tablet.
