Lara Bingle to Cash in on MMS Mobile Phone Picture Scandal

Model Lara Bingle is cashing in on her mobile phone MMS photo scandal, securing a $200,000 deal with Woman's Day magazine to "tell her side of the story"

Woman's Day magazine printed a photo taken on a mobile phone camera in 2006 and distributed via MMS of Lara Bingle showing the bikini model undressed in the shower. The photo was believed to be taken by Australian Football star Brendan Fevola, who Bingle was having a love affair with at the time.

Bikini model and TV advert star Lara Bingle said she would now take legal action against the football star.

The fact that Lara Bingle has now sold her story to the same publication that set off the mobile phone MMS picture and that Lara Bingle signed a deal just a week ago with a well known Aussie celebrity publicist indicates the scandal appears to be very much a PR stunt.

Well known Sydney celebrity manager and publicist said: "She (Bingle) chose to speak to Woman’s Day to explain why she is suing Brendan Fevola for leaking the unauthorised image."

Footballer Fevola denies he distributed the picture of Lara Bingle, and the rest of Australia is now starting the question the integrity of Binlge, now that she has cashed in on the photo with the same media company that created the scandal in the first place.
