London City Fire Burns Early Morning Thursday March 11



LONDON, England- A major fire has ripped through an area of inner London with more than 100 fire fighters battling the blaze. Thick black smoke is blanketing much of the area and people are advised to avoid the area.

The fire started in the early morning hours in central London at a building near Tabernacle Street, Shoreditch between Epworth Street and Leonard Street.

The building on fire in London city appeared to have destroyed a restaurant and several offices.

Over 20 firetrucks were at the scene of the blaze in London reports said.

Londoners were told that Tabernacle Street was closed due to the fire fire tween Epworth St & Leonard Street. City Road was also shut between Old Street Roundabout & London Wall.
